Pitaya seeds
Tropical plant with large fruits
Pitaya or dragon fruit is a very interesting and exotic fruit. Pitaya comes from Central America and is the fruit of several cacti, mainly Hylocereus undatus. In our country, we know this succulent and ornamental plant by its large, hanging flowers that bloom at night and emit a persistent and sweet vanilla scent.
The spiky pink fruit, but not at all dangerous, weighs up to 300 g and offers its melting, sweet and soft flesh containing many small black seeds. Due to its rather unusual shape, pitaya is also called "dragon fruit". Pitaya can bear fruit several times a year.
