Plant your own coffee tree!
The coffee tree is a tree that can grow as a shrub in our climate. With patience and tropical conditions recreated in a greenhouse or veranda, the culture is amazing! It's worth a try!
Coffee cultivation dates back to 1000-1300 AD. The Turks borrowed it from the Arabs, and the first signs of the presence of public consumption places were found around 1550 in Constantinople. In Europe, the first coffee house opened in Vienna in 1683. The coffee tree, which originates from Africa, is present in all tropical countries of this continent. But its culture spread to South America, where Brazil soon became its homeland.

Preparation method
๐ฟ Soak the seeds in clean water and let them soak for at least 24 hours.
๐ฟ Fill the container with soil and place the seeds about 1 cm deep, spaced apart.
๐ฟ Place in a warm place in the room, at least somewhere around 25ยฐC for the seeds to germinate, then at room temperature.
๐ฟ Keep the soil constantly moist, but not overly wet.
๐ฟ In a few weeks, the plant will sprout and show large glazed and ribbed leaves.
๐ฟ The plant can remain in the original pot for up to a year before being transplanted into larger pots.
Tip: Keep the grown plants in a warm place as if they were houseplants.
